Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The Seattle Children's PALS Training Center is an American Heart Association (AHA)-designated PALS Training Center.
The Seattle Children’s PALS Training Center is an American Heart Association (AHA)–designated PALS Training Center. We follow the AHA Curricula for PALS Provider, PALS Renewal, HeartCode PALS Part 2 and PALS Provider for Physicians and Advanced Practitioners (adapted). Upon successful completion, participants are issued an electronic PALS Provider eCard effective for two years.
These official AHA PALS Courses train healthcare providers in the skills needed for assessment and management of infants and children with conditions of respiratory distress/failure, shock and cardiac rhythm disturbances, using the team approach. PALS certification is required for work in high-risk areas where advanced therapies are provided.

In the half-day Part 2, participants practice and test team leader and team member skills using case scenarios. Completion of Part 1 is required for participation in Part 2.
Part 1 online key code is included in fee. If you already purchased a key code directly from https://shopcpr.heart.org/, you can register for Part 2 only for a discounted fee.
Information on computer technical requirements for Part 1 can be found at https://elearning.heart.org/static/faq.
